#TUESDAYTREND: I GAVE @redbookmag TIPS ON A TREND YOU’LL LOVE: MIXING PRINTS A LA BLAIR WALDORF! XOXOE

blairwaldorf_mixingprints225x450VOILA BLAIR WALDORF:
Queen of the Paris Mix and Match!

I literally love her iconic style and fabulous print mixing savy. This mixed up Moschino ensemble is one of my favs! Delicieuse! She knows the ultimate secret to keeping her print mixing and matching looking savvy and sophisticated is to use discretion in how she pairs her pieces. She keeps the proportion of her patterns consistent, and keeps her tones together and her color palette controlled. She follows this rule all the way, with apropos accessories: a Chanel bag, beret and Louboutins bien sur! J’adore!

And you can wear it too! I shared my inside tips with AVA FEUER for exactly how to rock the trend and look like a celebrity at the same time.

Jaw dropping perfection as always! You created a masterpiece in Blair that will inspire us for all time. 😉 So…beret rules…is ever okay to wear them straight on the head pulled down a bit or always tipped at the back? Thanks for the the constant inspiration!

      DEAR MARISSA
THE CLASSIC BERET IS BEST WORN ASYMMETRICALLY, WHILE A LAISSER-FAIRE APPROACH IS EXPECTED. IT IS THE OFFSET POSITIONING OF THE BERET THAT EMBODIES THE UNIQUELY BERET-LIKE QUALITY OF THE CHAPEAU, SO PLEASE AVOID TRYING TO WEAR IT AS A BRIMLESS BAKER BOY CAP. XOXOE!
